Overview:

MOTHER BOARD is a modern take on the electro phenomenon that erupted from the debris of Detroit – machine music that conjured dreams of a utopian future. Sampled from vintage machines, this Expansion explores the evolving interface between humans and technology. Beam the iconic sounds back to earth with acid chirps, stop-start rhythms, talkbox vocal chops, and every imaginable flavor of classic electro.

Your task? Create a song over 2 minutes in length using at least 2 of the loops provided. Then upload your entry and tell us which loops you've used. Go wild, and remember all genres and styles are welcome (as are your own sounds, if you own the copyright).

Rules:

• Create a track that’s atleast two minutes in length
• Not use any material to which you do not own the copyright
• Use at least two of the loops provided
• Be prepared to show project files to prove original sounds and the provided presets were used
• One entry per person, if you have more than one submission, only your first entry will be valid. You can upload improved versions by pressing the gear icon next to your tracks title
• The Metapop team will pick the winners based on creativity and skill
