Calling all junglists — RHYTHM SOURCE comes at you live and direct, fusing an array of custom-recorded, iconic drum breaks with the chest-rattling low end frequencies that define UK soundsystem culture. From rolling breakbeat to syncopated slow/fast, equip your dubs with the sounds you need for a peak-time rinseout — decaying samples, bass pressure, classic vocals, and above all rhythmic energy

Your task? Create a song over 2 minutes in length using 5 of the sounds provided from RHYTHM SOURCE. Then upload your entry and tell us which sounds you used. Go wild, and remember all genres and styles are welcome (as are your own sounds, if you own the copyright)

Rules

• Create a song over 2 minutes in duration
• Have legal rights to all sounds used in your song
• Use at least 5 sounds from the pack
• Be prepared to show project files
• One entry per person, if you have more than one submission. You can upload improved versions by pressing the gear icon next to your tracks title
• The Metapop Team will listen to all tracks and select the winners based on creativity and sound quality
