With this month's game, you have the chance to work on a German "Pop (Rock)" production by Mix Challenge community regular Strange, who kindly provided these multi-tracks. The song is called "Weg zu Dir" (The way to you).
One of the bigger challenges will be finding a good balance between the percussive work and the vocals, creating an overall upbeat feeling. The vocals are another interesting aspect of this challenge, as they are not your typical "perfect on beat" type performance. It is highly recommended to consult the lyrics (incl. translation) to understand the overarching story this song is telling.

Your composition could evoke a sense of an uncertain future and should create an atmosphere of mystery, tension, or exploration. Thus you can explore themes such as:

Compositions should remain engaging and evolve over time without excessive repetition. Vocals are optional, but producers are encouraged to integrate unique sound design elements, custom samples, and synthesized textures.

With the 'Uncertain Future' theme highlighting technological evolution, AI-generated content is regulated to ensure originality.
AI-assisted vocal synthesis tools such as Synthesizer V, Yamaha Vocaloid, and Plogue Alter/Ego are allowed if manually programmed. AI-generated text-to-speech samples may be used if they are significantly altered and not the main vocal element. Tools that assist in composition, like Scaler, InstaComposer, or Cthulhu, are permitted for harmony and melody guidance.
However, fully AI-generated vocals, voice cloning, and AI-generated backing tracks from sources like Suno, Udio, and Soundverse are prohibited, as well as automated DAW tools such as Bandlab SongStarter and PG Music Band-in-a-Box.
