Starix Production is on the hunt for fresh, talented artists and producers who can craft mesmerizing tracks in the HYPERTECHNO genre. This is your moment to shine as you create original HYPERTECHNO songs or put your unique spin on the genre with covers of popular songs. There are no specific themes or constraints—just let your HYPERTECHNO spirit run wild and deliver those catchy, pumping rhythms that define the genre. Need some stuff?
Hyper techno is a genre derived from Belgian Techno, differing from it in higher speed and a special emphasis on riffs with samples and synth sounds typical of 1990s dance tracks. It's a kind of techno counterpart of Eurobeat, especially its modern form, because it was born in the same environment, has a very similar history and often goes hand in hand with it.

Drumcode's teaming up exclusively with Beatport and LabelRadar to invite producers/DJs to submit a track for the chance to win a release on Drumcode with Bart Skils and a DJ set at the ADE pop-up store Drumcode Centraal.
If you win, you'll be flown to Amsterdam for ADE, where you'll spend Tuesday night in Martin Garrix's STMPD studio with Bart Skils to finish the track together. The submission should be within the techno genre. To participate, you must be available from October 17th to 20th 2023.

In celebration of his recent album release ‘Phoenix’, UK-based producer and DJ Jon Gurd will be shortlisting 10 demos to feedback to live on the Anjuna Twitch channel on Friday, 6th of May at 4pm BST / 11am EDT / 8am PDT. Demo submissions should fit the sound of Anjunadeep and fall under the categories of Electronica, Deep House, Melodic House and Melodic Techno. The submission portal will close on the 2nd of May. |

The cool, disaffected sound of Berlin meets the funk and soul of Detroit techno – hypnotic arpeggios, lush dub chords, rolling basslines, and more. LUNAR ECHOES comes ready to create complex minimal grooves and melodics.
Your task? Create a song over 2 minutes in length using at least 1 of the loops provided. Then upload your entry and tell us which loops you've used. Go wild, and remember all genres and styles are welcome (as are your own sounds, if you own the copyright).
The Metapop team will listen to all entries and pick the winners based on creativity and technical skill.

How to?
- The track must be an original creation. Bootlegs, covers, remixes will not be accepted.
- The track must be at least 1:30 minutes long.
- The track format must be MP3, Wav or Aiff.
- The track must be sent via a private SoundCloud link with an active downloadable link. The links must be sent by email to the address: [email protected] by 14/03/2022.
| For this challenge you should use a selection of presets from Native Instruments' MECHANIX Expansion for Massive X. Combine the instinctive movement of body and sweat with the caustic textures of concrete and steel, and the result is MECHANIX. Crunchy, staccato basslines do battle with guttural synths and abrasive rhythms to create a feverish aesthetic. Built for dark rooms and long nights, these industrial, EBM presets are a workout for speakers and limbs. Now for this competition, create an Industrial Dance track over 2 minutes in length using at least 5 presets from the provided pack (so 5 out of the 12 presets included in the Metapop - Industrial Challenge Preset pack).
