Kicking off 2025 with a bang, Sub_Urban Music is thrilled to announce its first remix competition, featuring the rapidly rising DJ/producer Cee ElAssaad and vocalist Lee Wilson.
You might remember Cee ElAssaad as the Grand Prize winner of Louie Vega’s “How He Works” Remix Challenge for Nervous Records—an event registered by RemiEXS in May 2023. Now, he is offering up-and-coming artists the opportunity to remix his original track, “Music Is The Cure.”
Together with the Sub_Urban Music team, he will select one grand prize winner and two runners-up, who will receive:

Seeking the Velvet is an independent record label of electronic and experimental-pop music based in Barcelona. Promoting emerging talents under the creative direction of founder Cora Novoa the label is built on a transmedia vision of music.
Spanish producer and DJ Cora Novoa records a first collaboration with African rapper Bryte under the name "Gogo Gaga", which will be released on the SEEKING THE VELVET label and is accompanied by a videoclip and a contest for producers on the web3.
To participate in the remix Contest, download the dedicated free an NFT on GUZZU to access the stems of the original track "Cora Novoa feat Bryte - Gogo Gaga", create your own remix, upload it to Soundcloud through a private link and send it before May 07, 2023 to the email: gods (at) seekingthevelvet (dot) com.
