“Closer” is the most danceable song from the band’s eighth and latest album “8,” released in October. The contest is open to anyone who wants to remix the song and download the song data on the contest’s special page. The contest is open to anyone who uploads their song to SouncCloud or YouTube with the hashtag “#rbbremix”.

The application period ends on Thursday, February 15, 2024, and several of the entries will be introduced at the “ROTH BART BARON “Closer” Remix Party” distribution event scheduled to be held the following week on Thursday, February 22. In addition, one of the finalists will receive the “Ableton Live 12 Suite,” a music software package scheduled for release in 2024, from Ableton, a music production software company.

Create an original song using up to TWO of Kato’s ONSS instrumental beat(s), and upload your creation to Audius to showcase your talent for a chance to be selected by Kato & B.o.B.

1. Create a free Audius account
2. Purchase your desired ONSS instrumental beat(s) and write + record your song. You may purchase as many ONSS beats as you'd like, but can only submit up to 2 songs.
3. Log-in to your Audius account and select “Upload Track” from the sidebar.
4. During the upload process, while filling out the details of your track, open the ‘Remix Settings’ menu.
5. Toggle on the “Identify as a remix” option, and provide the link to the original instrumental track from Kato’s page in the text box that appears. Tracks that are not linked to the original instrumental will not be considered for the challenge.
