:Wumpscut: is the long-running dark electro / electro-industrial project of Bavarian producer Rudy Ratzinger, active from the early ’90s to 2017 and known for its uncompromisingly bleak aesthetic.

Built on distorted vocals, cinematic sampling, and heavy, meticulously crafted synth work, Wumpscut helped shape the European dark-electro and goth-industrial club sound while remaining strictly studio-based — no tours, no stage persona, just pure production.

Across landmark releases like Music for a Slaughtering Tribe, Ratzinger fused brutality, atmosphere, and dancefloor drive into a signature style that still influences industrial and dark electronic producers today.
