Overview:

For a limited time you can save on a range of inspiring music creation tools, developed in collaboration with Galaxy Instruments. Choose from three collections and save up to 70%, or get any individual instrument half-price until May 18.

See how music and sound can change the language of pictures, with this special video created by Galaxy Instruments founder Uli Baronowsky. Uli presents the exact same movie scene scored twice in very different ways — once with instruments from the PIANO SUITE, and again using the ATMOSPHERE SUITE. As you’ll see, the contrasting textures, timbres and musical ideas elicit two breathtakingly contrasting moods.

For this challenge you're asked to put your own musical spin on the footage! Grab the video (download pack) and start scoring!

Rules:

• Create a soundtrack to the provided video footage
• Not use any material to which you do not own the copyright
• Be prepared to show project files to prove original sounds and the provided presets were used
• One entry per person. You can upload improved versions by pressing the gear icon next to your tracks title
• Upload your version of the scored video to a video sharing site such as YouTube and include the video link in your metapop entry description
• The Galaxy Instruments team and Metapop's judging team will listen to all entries and pick their favourites
