To celebrate this holiday season, our friends at Native Instruments are giving away an absolutely awesome synth called Hypha. 

It's free to download and has 156 carefully curated presets of blossoming, acoustic-electric hybrids, all inspired by nature and designed to keep you creating into the new year.

Your holiday challenge is to create a new track based on the theme of renewal and regeneration. You can interpret the theme as loosely or literally as you like, the Native Instruments team will be picking the winners based on creativity and technical skill.

Rules

• Create a song over 2 minutes in duration
• Have legal rights to all sounds used in your song
• Download Hypha for free and use at least one instance of the synth in your track
• Be prepared to show project files
• One entry per person. You can upload improved versions by pressing the gear icon next to your tracks title
• The Native Instruments team will listen to all tracks and pick the winners based on creativity and skill. Learn more about the judging process here
