Crates of wax, dusty sleeves, and sampled beats: STACKS packs the building blocks of 2000s-era, sample-heavy hip hop into a Play Series instrument full of leads, strings, horns, bass, and sounds influenced by crate digging dedication. BURNT HUES delivers the sample-heavy aesthetic that has defined the prolific, cult sound of West Coast crate-digging hip hop from the early 2000s until today.

Rules :

• Create a track that’s atleast two minutes in length
• Not use any material to which you do not own the copyright
• Use at least one of the loops provided
• Be prepared to show project files to prove original sounds and the provided presets were used.
• One entry per person, if you have more than one submission, only your first entry will be valid. You can upload improved versions by pressing the gear icon next to your tracks title
• The Metapop team will pick the winners based on creativity and skill
