Saudi Arabia’s leading and pioneering female DJ/producer, Cosmicat, has teamed up with LabelRadar for a remix competition, asking producers from across the globe to put their own personal spin on her new track, “Lovers Game” — a powerful and blissed-out track featuring uplifting vocals from the artist’s close friend and collaborator, Ss.hh.a.n.a.

Who is Cosmicat?

Cosmicat is the leading Saudi female DJ & producer in the electronic scene.

Born and raised in Jeddah, Cosmicat always had a strong passion for music in a world where it was considered taboo; there were limited record & music equipment stores and no live performances.

She bought her first set of gear online and began DJing in her bedroom, using her innate understanding of music flow and online resources to teach herself. Fast forward a few years and Cosmicat has developed her own sound and secured gigs at events right across the Middle East and afar, including slots at global events such as Tomorrowland & EXIT festival.

She has shared with stage with heavy weights such as Afrojack and R3HAB alongside her personal favourites - Solomun & Peggy Gou.

Following the release of radiant singles such as “Can You Feel” and “Baby,” the artists new Lovers Game / Game Over two-tracker — the first release on MDLBEAST Records’ new underground techno and melodic techno sublabel, MAHOOL — sees the young artist continue in her commitment to melody, ambiance, and emphatic love for the dance floor.
